Why Player 2 for Clash of Clans?
Most clan-finder tools are dead-by-2-weeks Discord servers. Player 2's clan matching is built around the metrics that decide whether a clan stays active: average town hall level, war frequency, donation rate, and Capital Raid participation.
Competitive players (CWL Champions, esports) get clans filtered by clan league trophies and average TH ≥ 14. Casual players (occasional war, no donation pressure) get looser filters that surface chill family clans.
New clans recruiting get the reverse: clan leaders specify the player profile they want (TH range, donation expectation, war availability), and Player 2 surfaces matched players.
Mobile-first: the in-app deep link opens Clash directly to the clan invite when you accept a match.
Reading a clan before you commit
War sizes come in fives
Clan Wars run from 5v5 up to 50v50 in multiples of five, each one a preparation day followed by a battle day with two attacks per member. A clan's war log (public or hidden, win streaks, missed attacks) is the single most honest signal of whether it's actually alive.
CWL is the monthly commitment
Clan War Leagues run one week a month: a group of eight clans, one attack per member per war day, in leagues from Bronze up to Champion. Rosters are 15 or 30, and an absent member still burns a slot, so serious CWL clans recruit for attendance as hard as they recruit for skill.
Capital Raids are the weekend economy
Clan Capital raids run every weekend, and the Capital Gold and Raid Medal economy only moves if members spend their attacks. Raid participation is a better activity metric than trophies. Trophies measure one player's grind; raid weekend measures the whole clan.
Donations are the daily pulse
Troop donation counts per member are public in the clan roster, and they're the fastest read on culture. A clan where requests fill in minutes plays together daily. One with empty castles is thirty solo players sharing a badge.

Is Player 2 affiliated with Supercell?
No. Player 2 is an independent service. Clash of Clans is a trademark of Supercell Oy.
Will this find me a CWL Champions clan?
Yes. Filter by 'clan war league' and minimum league tier. Champions-tier clans are the smallest pool, but matching there is strict on TH ≥ 14 and donation rate.
What if I just want chill?
Set the war preference to 'occasional' and donation expectation to 'none'. The algorithm surfaces family clans that don't punish casual play.
Clash Royale too?
Player 2's matching is currently CoC-focused. Clash Royale clan matching is on the roadmap but not active yet.
How does the in-app clan invite work?
When you and a clan match, Player 2 sends the clan tag as a deep link. Tapping it opens Clash of Clans directly to the clan invite screen.
Is it free?
Yes. Free on iOS, Android, and the web.
